  1. Program Description

  3. Second Copy 97 copies files and folders from one location to another
  4. on the same drive, another drive or across the network. You can
  5. setup "profiles" that describe the source location, the destination
  6. location, and the frequency at which you want to copy the files.
  7. Second Copy 97 monitors the source files for changes and additions
  8. and then automatically copies the new or changed files to their
  9. designated destination.  The program uses familiar Windows 95 Explorer
  10. interface.  An easy to use setup profile Wizard, makes the
  11. configuration job a snap.

  13. Advanced options include PKZIP compatible compression, password
  14. protection, directory synchronization and background thread priority
  15. control.  You can also include or exclude specific file or sets of
  16. files from the copy.

  18. Once you configure the profiles with your important file locations,
  19. the program sits as an icon in Windows "system tray" and unobtrusively
  20. copies files in the background.  Ideal for those of us who forget to
  21. do periodic backups. Can be used to synchronize files between the
  22. desktop and laptop, or between two remote sites.  Also useful for
  23. distributing software to several PCs on the network.

  25. Installation
  26. ============
  27. Run Setup97.exe to install the program.  To uninstall, select
  28. Second Copy 97 from Add-Remove Programs in Windows control panel.

  32. Includes a fully functional SHAREWARE software for 30 day evaluation.
  33. You can distribute it freely as long as you keep all included files
  34. together.
